Working Towards Positivity: Wirral mental health support for those not currently in work

Being out of work can be an incredibly distressing experience.

It does not matter whether you are a young person seeking employment for the first time or whether you have a wide range of experience but find yourself looking for work again.

For many people, being out of work can have a huge impact on your self-confidence and your self-belief, all of which is damaging to your mental wellbeing.

To support people not currently working across the Wirral, Chapter is providing a safe space to talk about your mental wellbeing, empower you to build your self-esteem and boost your skills.

Our free, non-judgemental listening service Connect is open to people on the Wirral who are not currently working. It provides a safe space when you simply need to talk.

Chapter’s free service Aspire also provides focussed one-to-one coaching to support you to identify, set and achieve wellbeing goals that will get your mental health back on track.

If you feel that experience is a barrier to getting work, there are also a variety of training and volunteering opportunities at Chapter for people on the Wirral who are not currently working.

These will provide the valuable qualifications and experience you need to boost your CV whilst working on your health and wellbeing, including certificates in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).

How to get in touch
