Meet Sally, Chapter’s Creative Wellbeing Coach

What inspired you to join Chapter?

I had been working in community-based mental health for a while doing one-off courses and liked the idea of working long term with clients where I could really see a difference to peoples development and changes in their mental health and I knew Chapter did this kind of support and were well established.

What’s the best bit about your work?

I love to see the people I work with grow in confidence and make new friends. That really makes it all worthwhile. My work also gives me the chance to be creative and develop fun projects which I love and theres always lots of new challenges.

Sally, what’s your own wellbeing ‘go-to’?

I love to do anything arty and crafty including jewellery making, journalling, painting plant pots and getting out and about with my dog to new places.

Tell us something unusual, or unexpected, about you that not many people would know.

I’m really into my alternative therapies including aromatherapy and crystal healing and my house is full of crystals and semi-precious stones. I’m always on the lookout for a new unusual one and have loved rocks and stones since I was a little girl.

What’s your favourite inspirational quote for life?

“If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got.” – Henry Ford

What 3 things are you most grateful for?

My dog, the chance to travel and see new places (although not at the moment :() my lovely kids and family.
