Creativity for Wellbeing – Online craft & journaling course

Develop your creative side whilst improving your wellbeing

“Crafts and journaling are a well-known practice to help you switch off, relax and generally improve mood and wellbeing”

Chapter are starting an online crafts and wellbeing course in conjunction with Impact Ellesmere Port CIC

The course will run online via teams and you will be sent all your craft materials in packs to take part to your home free of charge.

You will just need a few basic items of your own – scissors, sellotape, pencil, coloured pencils or felt tips, a black pen, ruler and objects you can draw around to make circles. We will send you any specialist materials you need for the projects

The course will be informal and will have a wellbeing or self-care theme for us to discuss as well as a fun craft or journaling activity.

Themes and activities may include:

  • Self-care
  • Bullet journaling
  • Gratitude
  • Brush Lettering
  • Self Esteem
  • Washi crafts
  • Developing resilience
  • Wellbeing Trackers
  • Positive thinking
  • Colouring skills
  • Confidence and assertiveness
  • Junk collage
  • Mood management
  • Creating background papers
  • Holding the Hope

Over the weeks, you will produce your own personal journal incorporating lots of fun craft techniques and maybe learn some new hobbies you can take up.

The course will be run as an online group and you will have the chance to chat and show some of your own craft projects and makes and share ideas and links for craft skills and online resources

No art or craft experience needed, suitable for the beginner or experienced crafter alike.
